Recently, ZOONO Group Limited (New Zealand) and its exclusive strategic partner in China, Hainan SPRING Biotechnology Co., Ltd., discovered during market regulation and random inspections that some Pinduoduo stores on mainland China e-commerce platforms (the stores verified to be "Happy Pet Supply Store" and "Pet Happy Shop") and Taobao stores are selling counterfeit 50ml ZOONO Skin Disinfectant products at extremely low channel prices and retail prices. Additionally, some consumers and offline pet veterinarians have called the ZOONO China service hotline (400-900-9023) to report that the physical products, liquid scent, and antibacterial efficacy are all different from what they have purchased in the past. After sampling and verification, the company confirmed that these are counterfeit products, and all counterfeit shipments originate from the Chenzhou area of Hunan Province. The Legal Department of SPRING has already cooperated with relevant authorities to trace and recover the counterfeit goods, investigating online stores that have sold counterfeit ZOONO products and sending lawyer's letters to pursue legal liability. To avoid potential risks to consumer rights, maintain market order, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of pet veterinarians, partners, and consumers, ZOONO Group now issues the following serious statement regarding the relevant situation:

Currently discovered anomalies and identification methods:

1. Product packaging material anomalies and identification: Genuine ZOONO products are smaller in size than counterfeit products; genuine ZOONO packaging uses imported art paper with an off-white color; genuine ZOONO bottles are made of premium HDPE material with a matte, non-reflective finish, while counterfeit bottles are made of inferior PET material with a smooth, reflective finish; genuine ZOONO products come with a packaging box, inner tray, instruction manual, and disinfectant product; counterfeit products come with only a packaging box and disinfectant product; genuine ZOONO products have clear printed fonts, and the exclusive ZOONO wavy line (on the packaging box and bottle label) features a hot silver foil stamping process; counterfeit products have blurry fonts, differing wavy line graphics, and no hot silver foil stamping process. 2. Product traceability code anomalies and identification: Genuine ZOONO products are affixed with a traceability code bearing the words "ZOONO Official Certification Mark." After scanning with WeChat, the code redirects to the official ZOONO WeChat public account for traceability information queries. When consumers check for the first time, the system displays the first query time and IP location, as well as the time and IP details of each subsequent query. If the first query time and location do not match the purchase time and location, careful verification is required to confirm whether the product is genuine, or official verification can be sought. After scanning counterfeit traceability codes with WeChat, they redirect to other official traceability platforms. To date, the ZOONO traceability code system has been independently developed, with no authorization granted to any third-party platforms for development or traceability management. 3. Anomalies and identification of text at the opening position on the top of the packaging box: Genuine ZOONO products feature the ZOONO Animal Health logo and product name marking, while counterfeit products are blank in this area. (See image above for details)

4. Anomalies and identification of production batch number and expiration date on the packaging box: Genuine ZOONO products feature spray-coded text, while counterfeit products feature printed text. (See image above for details)

5. Product formulation anomalies and identification: Genuine ZOONO liquid, when sprayed on the skin surface, is mild and has no irritating odor, leaving a noticeable film-forming and moisturizing sensation on the skin after application. The original liquid uses ZOONO molecular composite ingredients, suitable for antibacterial care of intact skin, damaged skin, and mucous membranes in pets. After sampling, testing, and laboratory analysis, counterfeit products, when sprayed, emit a distinct disinfectant-like irritating odor. Laboratory testing revealed that the main ingredient is hypochlorous acid (chlorine concentration: 315mg/L). This concentration is primarily used for immediate disinfection of environmental surfaces; using it on skin for disinfection may cause irritation and damage the skin barrier.

How to purchase official ZOONO Animal Health products:

· Only purchase complete products affixed with the "ZOONO Official Traceability Code." Genuine ZOONO products have one unique code per bottle.

· Purchase through officially authorized pet hospitals, authorized distributors, and official cooperative channels.

· Exercise caution when purchasing products from unknown sources, with unusually low prices, without original packaging, or resold after being unsealed and repackaged.
